Sunday – 6:30 am – Arlington Heights Sports Park, 9401 Cleveland Ave, Riverside, CA 92503. There is a New Member Orientation each Sunday from 6:15 to 6:30 am. (Google Maps). From fitness to fanatics, Riverside Road Runners meet to enjoy more than a run, jog or walk. We come together for encouragement, inspiration and companionship on the road, as we challenge ourselves to achieve our own personal best. As we wind our way through the orange groves that helped to found this great city, we find ourselves surrounded in beauty while pushing ourselves toward the next race. If you are working toward a 5, 10 or 15k or pushing for a half, full or ultra marathon, or if you just want to exercise to be in better health, you will find a Riverside Road Runner working for the same goal.
Tuesdays 6 – 7:30 pm – Speedwork on the track of UCR (University of California Riverside) (Google maps). Everybody can join, independent of your pace or experience. It is not just for fast runners; we have walkers joining too. Just come to the track and try it; there is nothing to be afraid of. The coach his main goal is to make it fun for everybody who joins, no matter what age, pace or weight. For more information please go to the special Riverside Road Runners’ speedwork page. Wednesday* – 5:30 am – A small group of runners meet for a flat 6 mile run starting at the Tournament House next to the DMV at Brockton Ave (Google Maps).
Friday* – 5:30 am – A run up Mt. Rubidoux. We meet next to Butch’s Grinder and Temple gym (Google Maps).
* Not an official club run. Some of our members meet to run together at these days, times and locations.
